60-Day Trial

Use it for two months. If it isn’t doing anything for you, send it back.

Red light therapy can take time to work, and while it is well researched some people don't feel the same benefits we, and many of our customers, do. For this reason we give you sixty days to use our devices on your own body, in your own routine - and a full refund if you decide it's not for you.

The one-line version

Use your device for up to 60 days from the day it arrives. If it isn’t for you, email us, send it back in good working order with all original parts and packaging, and we’ll refund you in full.

Why sixty days, and not fourteen

Many stores give you a fortnight. For a lot of products that’s plenty. For what we sell, we believe it's not enough.

Red light therapy is a consistency game. It is not a supplement you feel in an hour or a mattress you can judge on the first night. Some people do feel an impact straight away, but many people need weeks of regular sessions before having a real sense of whether it’s doing something for them. A fourteen-day window asks you to make the decision at exactly the point you know least - so most people would either return it too early or keep something they were never sure about.

Sixty days from delivery is long enough to build the habit, run a proper block of sessions, and form an honest opinion.

Yes, you can actually use it

“Trial” would be a strange word for a product you had to leave in the box. Use it as much as you like.

Our policy asks for items back in as-new condition, and for a devices like ours this is easy to do. There is nothing about normal use that marks a panel and the LEDs alone are rated for 100,000 hours. Look after it the way you’d look after anything you’d paid for, keep the bits it came with, and it will come back in exactly the condition we need.

One thing worth trying first

If it’s not doing anything for you, tell us before you pack it up. Not to talk you out of it - if it’s not working it’s not working. But a fair share of the time the fix is small: the distance is wrong, the sessions are too short, or the routine has quietly slipped to once a week.

Email hello@redlighthero.com or WhatsApp us what you’ve been doing and we’ll tell you if there’s an adjustment worth trying, or whether you’d be better off returning it.

How to return it

We make it as easy as possible - we only want happy customers.

What a return costs you

  • No restocking fee. We don’t charge one and we never have.
  • You pay the return shipping. That’s the one real cost. For smaller products it's modest. On a large panel, it can be substantial - so if you’re considering a bigger product and you’re genuinely unsure which device is right, it’s worth a five-minutes to contact us first, or a run through the device finder quiz. Picking correctly the first time is cheaper than any return policy.

The dates that matter

It's easy to understand when your 60-day trial begins and ends.

The dateWhat it means

Day 0

The day your order is delivered, not the day you bought it. Shipping time doesn’t eat into your trial.

Day 60

The last day to tell us you want to return. Once you’ve told us, take a sensible amount of time (up to 7 days) to get it packed and posted.

Your refund

Back to your original payment method once we’ve received and checked the item. In practice this is usually quick. Our policy allows up to 45 days as an outer limit, which is there for the occasional slow case rather than to describe a normal one.

60-Day Returns Limitations

  • One per customer. The trial is there so you can find out whether red light works for you, once. It isn’t a way to cycle through the catalogue.
  • Sixty days from delivery, and then it closes.
  • Not for commercial use. Devices used in a clinic, gym or studio etc aren’t covered by the trial.

If something’s actually wrong with it

A fault isn’t a return, it’s a warranty claim - and the warranty runs a lot longer than sixty days. Panels carry three years, the LEDs are rated for 100,000 hours, and we support every customer even after warranty runs out.

Australian consumer guarantees apply on top of everything on this page.

  • 90-Day Best Offer Guarantee

No need to gamble on whether next month's deal will be better.

60-Day Trial FAQs

Something not answered here? We want to help - please contact us.

Use it. That’s the point. We need it back working, complete and undamaged, but normal use is expected.

The day it’s delivered.

Yes, return shipping is your responsibility. We recommend using tracked postage with signature on delivery. There’s no restocking fee.

Cash, back to the card or account you paid with. Store credit is available instead if you’d prefer it.

Yes. Tell us what you’d rather have and we’ll work out the difference either way.

No. It’s one per customer.

That’s the warranty, not the trial, and it runs for up to three years. See Warranty & Support.

They’re separate. The trial is about whether the device is right for you. The Best Offer Guarantee is about the price you paid.

Because they’re measuring different things. The trial is about using the device, so it can’t start until you actually have it. The Best Offer Guarantee is about the price you paid, and that’s fixed on the day you ordered.

It’s a real cost, and we’d rather be straight about it than let you find out afterwards. Return shipping is yours to arrange, and on a large panel travelling back to Australia that isn’t trivial. Covering international return freight on items this size isn’t something we could do and still offer the rest of what we offer. So if you’re ordering from overseas and you’re unsure which device suits you, spend five minutes with the device finder quiz or contact us first - getting the choice right is worth more than any return policy.

This page explains the 60-Day Trial in plain English. The Refund & Guarantee Policy is the policy of record, and where the two differ, the policy applies. The trial is limited to one per customer and runs for 60 days from delivery. Nothing on this page limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
